Based in Southern California, Phoenix Tale Press is a small independent publishing company focused on bringing a white glove service to new authors. Our goal is to support budding authors who are considering self-publishing, by partnering with them to bring our knowledge and offer them some of the luxuries of a traditional publishing path; while staying true to the author's vision. It is important to us that all author's retain creative control and never incur up front costs. 

Our Story

Genevieve and Jason started Phoenix Tale Press at the beginning of 2025 with one goal in mind – help new authors navigate the daunting landscape that is the publishing world. By providing hands on personally tailored experiences to each of its partners, Phoenix Tale Press aims to help create polished, well-crafted products that all authors can be proud of. Our focus is to help independent authors who have been considering the self-publishing route by sharing our knowledge, experience, and passion for books and this industry as a whole.

There are many individuals out there that have stories to tell. Stories worth telling. And, stories that readers would be interested in. But there are also many hurdles that stand in a creator's way. Traditional Publishers can often times play gatekeeper and intimidate new authors. Independent Publishers can sometimes charge upfront fees that make financial investment a barrier of entry. And on top of upfront costs, Self-Publishing can often leave an author overwhelmed trying to figure out just where to begin. We want to help overcome these challenges by providing our support and expertise. At Phoenix Tale Press we’re creating a personalized, author first approach that provides the amenities of traditional publishers, while keeping creative control and proceeds in the hands of the author. After all, it is your story we want to leave the readers with, not ours. 

By doing so we are looking to form long lasting partnerships with budding authors, while building a collective of like minded passionate professionals who desire to help each other succeed. After all, all ships rise together.
