About Jason Parker
From childhood, Jason has been passionate about telling stories and entertaining others. He believes that escapism is one of the true gifts that creators can give to their audience.
Growing up in rural Michigan, nature has had a big influence on Jason's art; usually forcing its way into his works in one way or another. His writing is usually rooted in embellished natural visuals, while adding magical and surrealistic elements. He loves to play with fairy tale elements and tropes, even in his more grounded artwork.
After over a decade creating shows and managing studios in the digital media space, Jason has returned to his passion for the printed page. He published his first children's book in 2025, through Phoenix Tale Press (an independent publishing company that he and his wife started together) and is eager to continue his writing journey.
He hopes his work not only entertains, but also inspires his audience to keep learning. This is a key motivation that Jason continues to incorporate into his work, like in "Inspector Keith in: The Case of the Curious Cob" - a book which encourages critical thinking, exploration, and introduces new vocabulary to the reader.
